Below are single examples of savings that can be made in just one area of the controls. Each school could benefit from all or some of these examples which easily out way the cost of the yearly service of our remote monitoring & management service.

This example was discovered on a routine visit to site to discuss the option of adding remote monitoring and management.

The surveyor checked the occupational times that were set up and discovered that although the school was closed for a single half term holiday the heating and hot water was set up to run as if the school was in normal term time.

This example was discovered on a service visit to site.

The school was split into two zones (old & new building). The new building was much more efficient than the old building and therefore didn’t need as much heat throughout the day. However, the heating for both zones were set to come on & off at the same time.

The occupancy time of the building was set at 5:45am, although the building was not occupied until 8:45am. Therefore, the boilers were coming on and heating the building up to temperature 3hrs earlier than required.
